Back Yard Landscape Design To Create Multiple Living Spaces

The home owners were looking to expand their outdoor entertaining space by adding a patio next to the existing deck.

They wanted an area for a fire table, so we designed a circular area for the fire table and chairs.

We incorporated an area to place the grill on the patio while having it centrally located. This way the grill master can interact with everyone, whether on the deck or on the patio.

For ease of access, we also designed a walkway into the landscape leading to the garage service door and the front of the house.

The patio was created with several styles of pavers to differentiate the multiple living spaces in the back yard and create visual interest.

The area around the patio was landscaped with a variety of perennial and shrub plantings as well as an ornamental Japanese Lilac Tree.
